Frequently Asked Questions
Delivery
Items will be delivered to the location within a 2 hour window. We will be in touch beforehand to discuss a drop off point, preferably inside away from weather.
Our delivery service is an additional cost, the price of which will be sent over with your quote. Access will be required for a luton sized van - height of which is 3 meters 30cm.
Items must be inspected by the customer on receipt of the items. Any damages must be noted as this cannot be done retrospectively. If no one is present to check items they will be deemed undamaged.
All items must be at the drop off point at the agreed time for collection by Maeflower team, in a clean and orderly manner. Weather dependant.
We will not drive onto any grass or off any trackway in Maeflower vehicles.
Items will be dropped off by 1 member of Maeflower team. The customer must provide help at the location for unloading of the van.
The hire price does not include set up of furniture, if this is required please make us aware and we can quote appropriatley.
Small and fragile items will be delivered wrapped in packaging for protection. When items are returned they must be placed back in this protective packaging to avoid damage in transportation.
Hire period
Prices on the website and quoted are for a 3 day period.
Day 1 - Drop off - Day 2 - Event - Day 3 - Collection
If you would like to hire for a longer period let us know and we can adjust the quote accordingly.
If you want to collect the items and drop off from our warehouse, this can be arranged.
Stock
All of our hire items remain property of Maeflower.
Damages are priced according to item, due to the nature of our vintage items on hire we will take into account wear and tear.
Whilst on hire all of our stock must be kept in a secure, dry location - (unless item is intended for outdoor use, this will be noted on the hire item).
The customer is responsible for manual handling and all risks associated with this once the items are on hire.
Cancellation
In the unfortunate event of cancellation, notice must be given in writing (via email). If at this point the holding fee has been paid this is non refundable.
Pricing
Items to be chosen from website & put into a wishlist, this will be received by Maeflower. Stock and availability will be confirmed. Prices on the website are inclusive of VAT and are for a standard hire period (3 days) as described above. Please let us know if you require the items for longer and we will quote accordingly.
We will be in contact regarding delivery options, and a quote including terms and conditions will be sent over. An initial payment of the holding fee (20% of hire total) and signed terms and conditions must be sent back within 7 days to confirm the quote.
A security deposit of £150 will be required. This is refundable on the return of items, so long as items are in adequate condition. Any loss or damage over the cost of £150 will be invoiced for after the event.
